Another reason to hate snow
If you know me well, then you know how much I loved cold weather and hated summer time. Then this winter changed my views. The reason was mainly because I live in an off-campus house. The cold weather made me think twice about turning up the heat, leading to extra blankets on the bed. And the constant snow falling prompted me to shovel out my own car. By early February I was just about waiting for spring to arrive.
Well today, as another 4-5 inches fell on campus (which canceled class all day), I was able to find another reason to hate cold weather. Being an idiot I didn’t pay attention to the ice that was accumulating on steps, and I fell and dislocated my shoulder. Don’t worry folks I am fine (I’m able to type with both hands!). I should be able to play Guitar Hero in just a few days.
But because of this I cannot wait for the first 60 degree day to melt all of this silly snow. Of course I will probably wish for cold weather after a week down in Florida this summer (with 90 degree temps and 90% relative humidity)
